Doctor Landeros a native
Tucsonan, was born in 1948. He attended Tucson high School and in 1970 received
a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Arizona. In 1975 he
completed his degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of
California at Los Angeles. As a member in good standing of the American
Dental Association, the Arizona Dental Association and the Southern Arizona
Dental Society, he has been practicing in Tucson for over 25 years He has
been active in the community with memberships in service clubs, sponsorship
of youth athletics programs, participating with charitable organizations
and social service agencies, serving on the board of directors of Multiple
Sclerosis,and as the dental director of El Rio Santa Cruz Neighborhood Health
Center. Doctor Landeros now heads the office of Foothills Dental which he
founded in 1976.
Doctor is married
with two daughters all of whom are involved in the practice. He is consistently
attending continuing education programs to maintain the highest level
of knowledge and expertise. He has special interests in geriatric dentistry
and cosmetic dentistry in which he has been involved from its beginnings.
He was also the first in Tucson to directly address the problem of halitosis
with the use of a halimeter, the instrument to measure the compounds responsible
for bad breath. Doctor's involvement with youth athletics teams and concern
for safety issues has led to his participation with the Academy of Sports
Dentistry.
